-DAY-BY-DAY
Itinerary
We begin our adventure in Hood River with a scenic shuttle to the slopes of Mount Hood.
Our first ride is a gentle climb to the legendary Gunsight Ridge singletrack, where breathtaking views of Mount Adams and Mount St. Helens await you from 6,000 feet.
This fun, twisting trail culminates in a fast, flowing descent to our cozy camp along Eightmile Creek.
Today’s loop starts with an exhilarating five-mile descent along Fifteen Mile Creek, taking you through lush forests.
The subsequent climb back to camp is a rewarding challenge, and our expert guides can tailor this ride to your preferences.
As with all our supported bike tours, cold drinks and a delicious meal will be waiting for you upon your return to camp.
We’ll embark on a classic cloverleaf route featuring some of the best trails Mount Hood has to offer.
We’ll ride to the Five Mile Butte Lookout Tower for a spectacular view before enjoying an epic descent full of banked corners and tight singletrack.
These are the trails that make Mount Hood Singletrack a favorite adventure cycling tour.
Today is dedicated to one of Oregon’s most beloved trails: Surveyor’s Ridge.
This trail is a mountain biker’s dream, with a roller coaster of ups and downs and continuous breathtaking views across the Hood River Valley.
In mid-summer, wildflowers will brush your handlebars, creating a truly sensory experience with endless photo opportunities.
We’ve saved the best for last! Our grand finale is a thrilling 2,300-foot downhill descent on the legendary Dog River Trail—or “The Dog” as the locals call it.
First, we’ll hit a section of Surveyor’s Ridge we missed yesterday, then it’s time to check your brakes and hold on tight.
We’ll enjoy one final lunch together before our shuttle back to Hood River, leaving you with lasting memories of your Mount Hood singletrack bike trip.
