Below is a recap from one of our favorite guests, Trent & his teenagers on the White Rim Trail
“I went into this trip worried about the miles, the logistics, and whether my boys would enjoy it. I shouldn’t have been. Western Spirit turned a big, intimidating idea into a smooth, joyful family adventure.” — Trent, White Rim Trail Guest

The Western Spirit Difference: Logistics Handled

Worry Free Camping
“From the moment we arrived in Moab, Western Spirit’s professionalism and attention to detail made it clear that my only job was to pedal and enjoy the scenery. The guides Kira and Lewis were amazing! Traveling with two growing boys means packing for an army, but the Western Spirit crew handled everything else.” –Trent
We do the work- You enjoy your vacation!
“This was the true game-changer. I wasn’t Unpacking, filtering water, or cooking meals after a long day of cycling.”-Trent
| Challenge | Western Spirit Handling | My Effort |
| Camp Setup | Chairs and camp were ready upon arrival. | Pick a tent spot |
| Meals | Gourmet, hot breakfasts and dinners; substantial trail lunches. | Zero (just enjoy food & scenery) |
| Water/Hydration | Full supply of potable water and electrolyte drinks. | Filling my bottles |
| Gear Transport | Personal bags and camping gear moved by support vehicles. | Packing a small day pack |

Why This Matters
“This freedom was priceless. I got to spend my evenings genuinely relaxing with my sons, pointing out constellations, and recounting the day’s highlights, instead of wrestling with gear or scrubbing pots.
The food was amazing and another testament to the hard working guides. One night my youngest wasn’t feeling the dinner. He tried to be polite. ‘I’m fine, I’ll just grab a snack.’ Before I could even react, Louis fired up the stove and made him grilled cheese. No fuss. No spotlight. Just quiet, thoughtful care. That’s what the whole trip felt like.”

The challenge is part of the fun!
“Let’s be clear: the White Rim Trail is challenging. There are steep climbs, sandy stretches, and long days in the saddle. Before the trip, I envisioned myself struggling, trying to keep up with the group while the group had to wait for me at the top of every climb.
What I learned was that the physical effort actually amplified the rewards. The feeling of cresting a tough climb and being greeted by a panoramic view of the vast Canyonlands was an unforgettable triumph. My initial worry evaporated on the first day. The support vehicle was always close by with snacks and a ride if needed, but the combination of the manageable daily mileage and the sheer enjoyment of the ride kept us all going. The guides gave clear instructions on where to stop and meetup so I never felt like the group was waiting for me.
I went into this trip worried about the miles, the logistics, and whether my boys would enjoy it. I shouldn’t have been. Western Spirit turned a big, intimidating idea into a smooth, joyful family adventure. If you’ve been putting off a trip like this because of the hassle or the unknown, let them handle the details then show up ready to ride.”

“My skill and fitness level were not up to those as others in the group but never once did I feel intimidated… They made sure that everyone in their various skill levels enjoyed the rides and that there was enough for everyone.” — Nick & Nichole
“I was worried riding and camping with a group… could I keep up? would I ‘fit in’? I was able to keep up and push myself and was challenged by the terrain, I loved it! The group was great I had nothing to worry about, everyone was friendly and supportive.” — Robin
